A Ministry Across
the Americas.
Misael and Daniela Lucano.
Lucano Missions is led by Misael and Daniela Lucano, who have dedicated their lives to planting life-giving churches and raising leaders throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Their journey began with the planting of Camino de Vida in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in 2012—a church that later became Somos Santa Cruz in 2021.
As the ministry continued to grow, they developed a proven model of identifying, equipping, and empowering local leaders to shepherd healthy churches. That vision became a reality in 2026 when Pablo and Cecilia Camacho were commissioned as the first location pastors in the Somos network, marking the first leadership transition in the ministry’s history.
Today, Misael and Daniela continue expanding that same model by planting Somos Asunción in Paraguay while preparing future church plants across Latin America. Their mission remains unchanged: to love God, love people, follow Jesus, and raise leaders who will plant life-giving churches in every Spanish-speaking city.

- A Ministry Across the Americas
To raise up leaders who plant life-giving churches in the Spanish-speaking world.
Love God. Love people. Follow Jesus. That’s the heart behind every Somos we plant.
Misael’s call to ministry started at sixteen as a worship leader in his native Peru. After studying at Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma, he returned to Latin America in 2004, serving in Asunción, Paraguay.
In 2007 he married Daniela, who had already been serving and leading in her local church for many years. Together they moved to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where they planted Camino de Vida in 2012.
In 2021 they launched Somos. After raising up Pablo and Cecilia Camacho as location pastors of Somos Santa Cruz, Misael and Daniela relocated to Asunción in January 2026 to plant the second Somos location, launching in September 2026.
Misael and Daniela are members of North Church in Edmond, Oklahoma—the church that sent them into ministry and under whose pastoral covering they continue to serve with accountability.
Together, Misael and Daniela have ministered throughout the Americas, speaking at leadership conferences, training events, and mission gatherings across the United States, Peru, Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, and beyond. Their ministry has equipped hundreds of pastors and leaders while building lasting relationships with churches and ministries throughout the continent.
